True mineral
based concealers, which are free of talc, are the solution
to this problem. Our new Active
Light™ Under-eye Concealer, like all of our products,
is free of binders such as talc. As a result, there is no
need to pile on product and risk creasing or accentuating
fine lines. The mineral particles in Active
Light™ create a soft-focus effect and change the way
light is reflected from the skin, camouflaging any sign of
fatigue and concealing dark circles.
As an
added bonus, studies have shown the percentage of Buckwheat
Wax in Active
Light™ may even reduce puffiness around the eyes! |

Al principio,
hacemos una prueba debajo de su brazo para probar para cualquier
hypo o hyperpigmentation.
Si esto
es normal, podemos tratar a cualquier otra parte del cuerpo.
He hecho
esto en muchos clientes y han estado muy satisfechos. |

Start
at a Med Spa with an expert you
trust. Many women try to self-prescribe treatments when in
reality, most of us don't know what types of treatments are
indicated for our unique skin care woes.
I like
microdermabrasion, but that's because I've seen very
good results and I go to a professional I trust- always
the same professional. Over time, she's gotten to know my
skin and how it reacts to different procedures.
Loyalty
and commitment are both key to seeing big changes- one of
anything won't cut it!

The Isolaz treatment is your answer! Isolaz therapy uses a proprietary combination of vacuum and laser that helps loosen and extract dirt, blackheads and excess oil while helping destroy the acne-causing bacteria found deep in your pores. An added benefit-because we are using the laser, the treatment also stimulates collagen at the same time. Plus, there is no downtime or pain associated with the treatment. |

African American acne skin care and acne prevention must consider that melanin (pigment of the skin) makes skin more vulnerable to injury and more sensitive to topical products. African American acne scaring often produces hyper pigmentation after lesions have healed, and the spots may remain darker than the surrounding skin for months or even years: therefore preventive steps should be used.
To help prevent pores from clogging, proper cleansing should be done with mild, non-abrasive products. This will remove excess oils and the build-up of dead skin cells. Mild topical spot treatments (topical retinoid) may also aid in reducing surface bacteria, which help prevent new lesions from advancing and causing hyper pigmentation. Hyper pigmentation is not only the result of acne, but also from scrapes, burns, cuts, eczema, or other skin trauma once a lesion has formed, African American acne should not be picked at, squeezed or punctured. Besides topical agents, newer acne treatments may include procedures such as chemical peels and laser therapy. |

For mild scarring I would recommend fractional resurfacing such as the Pixel from Alma Lasers. This treatment should result in significant improvement with only a couple days of redness. As with most procedures, multiple treatments will be necessary and the more treatments, the better the result. This procedure is also great for fine lines and wrinkles. |

I would recommend exfoliation and some type of skin lightening cream. Also make sure to use SPF everyday. |
